Nice suprise when I got home, 15+ Budgies on my property that I haven't seen In so many years, sad indication on what our summer is going to be like if I see them here. |

Wed 23 | | Sanderling, Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater Ricketts Pt, Beaumaris |
The fluctuating flock of Sharp-tailed Sandpipers (28 this time) was joined by a Sanderling and 3 Red-necked Stints in the afternoon. Also a Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater calling from the coastal woodland-rare here and the first October record I'm aware of (normally a rare autumn-winter visitor here). |
